The story of Loktinula.

Loktinula, an eleven years old child was diagnosed with Leukemia. The principal of her school contacted us asking for our prayers and some financial aid.

From a small village in Nagaland, Loktinula was lucky enough to receive good facilities of Cancer treatment in Guwahati. She is undergoing her treatment and is planned to receive Chemotherapy which will continue for three years.

As painful as chemotherapy sounds, there is something even more painful Loktinula and her family are going through. Her father, Mr. Imtisungkum, is a carpenter and his monthly income is just Rs. 15000.  This amount was inefficient to fulfill their daily needs, until they found out was Loktinula was going through.

Loktinula is a brave girl and she has dreams like all of us. She wants to complete her education despite of the problems she is facing.

Leukemia, also known as Blood Cancer, has cases fewer than 1 million per year in India. Fighting her rare disease, Loktinula and her family needs your support, so they can fight cancer and make Loktinula even a stronger person.

Sanjay Kumar Pandey

  “Mr. Sanjay has been working as a school teacher in our school since 2 years. He has been a favorite with the children” writes Mrs. Krishna Priya, the principal of Prema Educational Academy.

Fourty eight year old Sanjay Kumar had complaints regarding to ear discharge, nasal blockage and swelling in the right side of the neck. When gone through CT Scan, a large moderate enhancing mass in nasopharynx with extension into his asal cavity was found. That was when he was discovered with Nosyprex Carcinoma that is Cancer.

He started his radiotherapy in March 2016, and somehow tolerated the intense treatment. However, he is still struggling with Cancer and needs help to get out of it.

Ram sharan jaiswal is from Chirmiri and he is one of the live examples of how diseases don’t see pockets before coming. He is 89 years old, and doesn’t have money to get his treatments done. He didn’t realized he was having cancer until his old wound wouldn’t heal. That’s when he got it checked and came across the realization that he was having Cancer.

Hassinudin

Hassinudin, 40 years old was discovered with Cancer in 2017. Originally from Udaipur, Hassinudin’s biopsy details weren’t good when the doctors realized that the soft grey white tissue in his pharynx is nothing but cancer. His only occupation is driving auto, which makes him earn no more than 3000 per month. In such a case of adversity, with such a minimal income and no other support, Hassinudin is battling cancer with whatever he has with a hope to fight and survive. Cancer can affect anybody. Manju’s husband is a shastri who does bhajan. Their monthly earning is approximately Rs.10000 only however, Manju’s treatment is quite expensive for them. She is dependent on uncertain earnings from her homely works and manages to earn Rs.3000 per month. However, Rs. 2000 from her earnings is spent on her treatment, which leaves her with very less amount for her daily survival.

In advanced cases, Tracheal Cancers can lead to loss of breathing. However, it can be treated by radiotherapy, surgery and your support.

RamkorBai is like any other housewife belonging from the district of Buldana. In February 2018, she was diagnosed with Retromolar Trigone squamous cells of cancer in her body. Brain Tumor is a very common disease in India. It’s symptoms include new or increasingly strong headaches, blurred visions, loss of balance, confusions and seizures. In some cases there maybe no symptoms. Malignant tumors (Cancerous) can grow and spread aggressively, overpowering healthy cells, blood and nutrients. Kumudben Jani was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor in 2015. Her lesion appeared hyper intensed and it had a mass effect on other parts of the brain as well.

At this point of life, Kumudben has insufficient aid to fight with her illness. She is receiving her treatment in Civil Hospital, Ahmedabad and requires funds to complete her medications.

 42 years old Mr. Chandu Shravan was diagnosed with a very rare Melanoma Skin cancer . He is a father of 2 children aged 10 year and 7 year respectively. His disease so rare that its treatment came to India just a few months back and the treatment is very expensive. His monthly medicine cost him 3-3.5 lakhs.
